Ecosomatic movement and imagery practices within the forest
Led by Claire F. Crescini and Filippo Michelangelo Ceredi
In these workshops we will offer embodied practices for nourishing our relationship with the environment and with our inner and outer nature. The practices take place in the forest of Liepnitzsee in beautiful frame of the Natural Park of Barnim in the North of
Berlin. Through guided ecosomatic practices and embodied explorations we will tune with the
rhythm of the forest, closely meeting the soil, the trees and their branches. We will explore our sensitivity and our capacity of surrendering, trusting and healing our relational field with joy and deepness. We will explore states of being to reclaim our authentic self.
These workshops are for anyone and everybody interested in movement, the body and consciousness regardless of experience or ability.
Ecosomatics is a vital access to the living. It can be considered a field that engages us to embody a deeper relation with ourselves and the world in which we live.
Ecosomatics is an approach, where the the body proposes itself as bearer of
its own "intelligence", the result of an integrated and lasting organism-environment relationship.
In this vision, the elements that are valued are proprioception and the perception of concrete
contact with natural agents in a protected framework, the interrelation between body and mind
and the possibilities of expression of the human body by activating a deep listening to these resources.

- 18th November ENVISIONING led by Filippo
- 2nd December LIGHTNESS led by Claire and Filippo
The workshops can be attended as a single experience or as a path of the 3 together.
Every session has its own internal development.
In the first workshop Claire will propose ecosomatic movement practices to connect and feel the soil. We will slow down to tune in the rhythm of the forest working on the gaze and the spine to reactivate the movement of flexion and extension, on the ground and standing.
In the second workshop Filippo will focus on the sense of sight and we will explore the relationship among bodies and landscapes, images and movement.
In the third and last session we will specifically work intertwining our bodies with the trees and let them teach us how to ground and release while feeling the lightness of our being. We will relate to the roots and to the trees through slow movement practices in order to perceive when a dynamic has to happen and how we can support that feeling and power.

Claire and Filippo both graduated at Rhizoma, 3-year school of somatic and ecosomatic practices in nature led by Cinzia Delorenzi.
Claire applies her ecosomatic knowledge to artistic and daily life. Through Rhizoma, she is currently in the process of specialization to graduate soon as somatic and ecosomatic movement educator certified by Ismeta.
